LIVING HOPE
How great the chasm that lay between us. How high the mountain I could not climb. In desperation, I turned to heaven And spoke Your name into the night.
Then through the darkness, Your loving-kindness Tore through the shadows of my soul. The work is finished, the end is written. Jesus Christ, my living hope.
Who could imagine so great a mercy? What heart could fathom such boundless grace? The God of ages stepped down from glory To wear my sin and bear my shame.
The cross has spoken, I am forgiven. The King of kings calls me His own. Beautiful Savior, I’m Yours forever. Jesus Christ, my living hope.

Yesus Kristus harapan hidupku. Haleluya, maut telah kehilangan cengkeramannya. Yesus telah mematahkan setiap rantai. Dia telah membebaskanku.

Setelah Yesus disalibkan ada satu hari dimana murid-murid tidak bisa melakukan apapun. Mereka kehilangan harapan dan putus asa karena pahlawan mereka telah mati. Murid-murid yang sangat dekat dengan-Nya merasa sangat terpukul dengan kematian-Nya.

Markus 16:1 (TB) Setelah lewat hari Sabat, Maria Magdalena dan Maria ibu Yakobus, serta Salome membeli rempah-rempah untuk pergi ke kubur dan meminyaki Yesus.

Itu wanita semua. Pagi-pagi benar mereka pergi ke kuburan Yesus pada hari pertama minggu itu. Jadi, hari pertama adalah Minggu.

Markus 16:2 (TB) Dan pagi-pagi benar pada hari pertama minggu itu, setelah matahari terbit, pergilah mereka ke kubur.

Mereka sempat bertanya-tanya, "Siapa yang akan menggulingkan batu penutup kuburan?" Namun, ketika tiba di sana, mereka melihat bahwa batunya sudah terguling.
